Created and tied by Maxwell MacPherson, Jr.
The fly was named after one of Max's 18th century Scottish relatives
who was about be hanged and whose last request was to play his
fiddle. Needless to say, he played until he finally collapsed from
exhaustion, and was promptly hung.
